As many of you are aware in the past year The Centre has been faced with the dilemma of replacing one third of its funding, which was withdrawn by The Southwark Diocese. We are delighted to announce that, following consultations between The Croydon LEA and The Management Committee, The Croydon LEA have agreed to support CFER with the remaining funds required (plus some extra funds for development) to enhance the teaching of RE in Croydon Schools and support the Community Cohesion Development. We are looking forward to The Centre’s valuable work being continued and future developments taking place.

Croydon Religious Education Resource Centre (CRERC) has now changed from a partnership to a charitable company limited by guarantee and has transferred all it's assets and liabilities to Croydon Faith Education Resources (CFER).

Its new charity number is 1136421.

Its company registration number is 7108364.

Alongside this, re-location has also been on the agenda and the LEA are currently looking for an appropriate location for the Centre to move to in the near future. For the time being CFER will remain at the present location and will continue to function normally. We will of course inform our users of the new location as soon as we can.
